Accuracy analysis of robust filter by the convex hull method

I. K. Levin

Moscow
Abstract: A geometrical approach is proposed to accuracy analysis of a nonlinear digital filter. The extreme potential of some conventional accuracy estimation methods is analyzed for so-called «robust» filters and a recurrence equation system is obtained which includes the upper and lower bounds for the r.m.s. error in a specific filter of this kind. Numerical examples are given.
