On Amplitude Quantization Errors

Numerical round-off error characteristics of amplitude quantization with triangularly distributed correction signal are studied. Conditions are given under which the characteristics are independent of the probabilistic features of the processes to be quantized. The study is performed for both discrete and continuous time distribution of the- process and correcting signal.
