Diffusion jumplike approximation in single-channel systems with service interruptions and variable customer arrival rate

Abstract:
A new method is proposed for approximate characterization of a service system with service interrupts and a variable customer arrival rate. A system with absolute priorities is considered as a particular case. The estimates are compared with accurate results and with estimates obtained by other methods.
