On crudeness of sliding modes in systems with discontinuous control functions

L. M. Fridman

Kuibyshev
Abstract: The paper is concerned with a singularly disturbed system with control function whose slow control variables are discontinuous and figure only in equations of slow motions. Conditions are found under which the motions in sliding mode that occur in a formally truncated system model slow motions of the entire system.
