Sliding modes in control of distributed plants subjected to a mobile multicycle signal

Moscow
Abstract: The paper solves the problem of obtaining and maintaining the desired plant state by using a mobile cyclic source of signals. The process model is a one-dimensional heat conductivity equation with the signal averaged over time. The use of an averaged equation is shown to be sound. Discontinuous controls are shown efficient in closed loop distributed systems subjected to mobile signals.
