Approximate representations of random functions optimal in terms of a complex statistical criterion

N. I. Andreev

Moscow
Abstract: In extension of theory of canonical expansions of random functions [1] a problem is posed and solved of determining, an approximate representation of a random function as a sum of a finite number of elementary random functions, the sum insuring the extremum of the specified complex statisticals criterion. The findings can be used for effective solution of control system analysis and design problems.
