Deterministic Systems

Optimal linear regulator for a class of systems with distributed parameters

V. G. Deĭch

Leningrad
Abstract: A simple way to design a linear stationary controller is proposed for a plant described by a hyperbolic set of partial equations which make a mathematical model of ideal displacement units. The controller is shown to be optimal in terms of a quadratic functional which gives a fair insight into requirements to the process control system.
