Abstract: The problem is formulated of simultaneous choice of chemical process parameters and process control algorithms at the design stage. In the process a final product is obtained from several components. An algorithm is proposed for computation of buffer storages with possible control of preparation for scheduled maintenance. As illustration computation for a cement plant is described.
