Technical Diagnostics

Locating defective components in linear systems given as block diagrams. I

E. K. Kornoushenko

Moscow
Abstract: An approach is described to finding faulty components in linear (continuous or sampled-data) systems specified as structural diagrams. The transfer functions of components and the links between components are assumed known. A fault is assumed to occur in a signle component and change its transfer function. It is required to detect the faulty component without restoring its transfer function.
