Multiplicity of a stationary state distribution for one kind of bulk service networks

Yu. V. Malinkovskii

Gomel
Abstract: The range of bulk service networks under discussion includes Jackson networks with servers of various rates in every node and networks having reserve servers. For open network a necessary and sufficient and for closed network, a sufficient condition are obtained for representability of stationary state distribution as a product of factors characterizing individual nodes. For nodes where this condition holds the output flows are proved to be Poisson.
