A method for comparing classes of systems to be designed
N. S. Gubonin Moscow
Abstract:
For ranges (sets) of systems of the same function, each associated with a certain Pareto set, the notion of comparison by the Pareto criterion is introduced which is a refinement of the principle of Pareto comparison of individual systems (options). Relations are established between comparison of system ranges by this criterion and comparison of their multidimensional diagrams of exchange of performance criteria which describe the Pareto set in the criterion space. Possible applications of the new principle and the difficulties arising there are formulated. Comparison of ranges with exchange diagrams of multiplicative form is shown to be reducible to comparison by the Pareto criterion of the vectors of parameters which describe these diagrams.
