Approximate plotting of forced periodic oscillations by the collocation method

E. G. Vainikko

Moscow
Abstract: The article is concerned with the possibility of plotting periodic oscillations in nonlinear systems by the collocation method which has been applied to an operator equation equivalent with the initial one. The proposed way to go to the operator equation makes the collocation method applicable to a very broad range of initial equations whose nonlinear part includes derivatives. Convergence of the method is studied in local and nonlocal conditions.
