Computers in Control

Relationships between super-computer throughput indices and ways to estimate the throughput

B. A. Golovkin

Moscow
Abstract: Conditions are discussed that dictate the throughput of super-computers with the vectorization recognized. The basic throughput indices are analyzed and ways to estimate the latter proposed which is applied to Gray-1, X-MP/1, Cyber 203 and 205, Fujitsu VP-100 and VP-200, Hitachi S-810/20, NEC SX-1E, 1 and 2 when these perform Livermore cycles.
