Signal identification with specified risk

S. Yu. Efroimovich, M. S. Pinsker

Moscow
Abstract: In identification of a signal with guaranteed risk, as the latter decreases an asymptotically accurate lowerbound is specified for a minimax mean sample size. Depending on the data on the perturbation parameters, the linear estimate with a deterministic sample size, the adaptive linear estimate with a statistically computable sample size or the sequence of signal identification is asymptotically deterministic.
