Structural identification of nonlinear dynamic processes

Abstract: An algorithm is analyzed for structural identification for nonlinear block-oriented Hammerstein, Wiener, and Wiener — Hammerstein models. The algorithm proceeds by solving nonlinear regression equations for mutual correlation functions. Frequency and time criteria are provided for determining the structures of models which describe nonlinear processes adequately.
