An algebraical method of generating locally trivial tests

E. I. Mazur

Moscow
Abstract: A test generator is described for full monitoring of $n$-input combinational circuits whose every input depends on a maximum of $k$ inputs, $n>k$. A method is proposed of inializing a shift register with a linear feedback in the generator. The method which relies on an algebraical description of the set of register states significantly reduces the hardwave needed for a test generator.
