Queuing Systems

On application range of approximate bulk service network design

S. M. Porotskii

Moscow
Abstract: The accuracy and sensitivity are analyzed of one approximate way to design bulk service networks by decomposition into quasi independent parts. For various binds of approximation (open-loop system with an infinite queue, a limited queue, and a finite source) the design results and asymptotic estimates are provided.
