Monotone systems for incomplete classifications of a finite set of objects

Yu. M. Zaks, I. B. Muchnik

Moscow
Abstract: An incomplete classification problem is solved by a monotone system of special form. An the classification method minimal kernels of the monotone system are identified. Conditions are provided under which the classification proves complete. The method is compared with those reported in the literature.
