Asymptotic estimation of performance of large technological changes

V. N. Kokarev, V. V. Tokarev

Moscow
Abstract: An analysis of balanced paths of a dynamic multi-sectoral economy model suggests an easy way to estimate the economic performance of changes in averaged specific sectoral quotas unrestrained by the presumed small size of these changes. The technique reduces to comparing the values of the complete labor consumption of a unit nonproductive consumer associated with the original and perturbed sets of quotas and expressed in their terms in a finite formula.
