Switching networks in multiprocessor systems with common control: the state-of-art

G. G. Veselovskii, M. F. Karavai, S. M. Kuznechik

Moscow
Abstract: The literature is surveyed on multi-stage switching networks used in multiprocessor systems with a common control and the state-of-art is analyzed. Basic parameters of such networks and kinds of messages actually used are listed. Ways to control switching networks and to increase their fault tolerance are discussed. Kinds of switching networks are compared.
