Queuing Systems

Optimization of convey multicondition queueing systems

Yu. M. Volchenko

Donetsk branch of Kirov Kharkiv Institute engineers of railway transport
Abstract: Queueing systems (QS) are considered in which the waiting times are limited, whereas the times of service and of readjustment of the units depend on the modes of service. Sufficient optimality conditions are obtained for a QS consisting of two units. A multiunit QS can be optimized by a combined branch-and-bound method with sequential analysis and shifting of versions.
