Queuing Systems

System with absolute continuous priorities and nonhomogeneous input flow

A. V. Pechinkin

Scientific-Research Institute of Communication and Management, Moscow
Abstract: A single-server queueing system with absolute continuous priorities and group Poisson arrivals is considered. The stationary distribution of the sojourn time of the jobs in the system and the distribution of the number of jobs in the system are determined. We show how to allow in these formulas possible discontinuities in the priority distribution function.
