Continuous logic, its generalizations and application. II
V. I. Levin Penza State Technological Academy
Abstract:
Part II of the survey covers the applications of continuous (infinite- valued) logic in mathematics (geometry, approximation theory, number theory, set theory), control theory and engineering (analysis of nonlinear circuits, design of function generators and data converters, data processing, analysis and diagnosis of digital automata), biology (modeling of neuron structures), system theory (reliability, spatial scene analysis, system synchronization, analysis of queueing systems), and economics (discrete optimization, including scheduling theory).
