Developing Systems

Interaction of entropic systems

B. L. Shmul'yan

Moscow
Abstract: A description is introduced of a system which consists of interacting subsystems. The states of each subsystem maximize its entropy while constraints on the states are associated with a priori information and depend on states of other subsystem. The concept of an equilibrium stable state of the system as a whole is defined; an algorithm is suggested for determining this state and its convergence is proved. Convergence of algorithms for an entropic model of an urban system is analyzed.
