Abstract: The paper is concerned with the problem of absolute stability for systems with one sectoral nonlinearity. Quadratic transformation of the system coordinates leads to a frequency condition for stability which gives in certain cases estimates of the parameter stability region better than those provided by V.M. Popov's criterion.
