Reliability

Effect of controller failures on control system effectiveness

Abstract: The paper is concerned with the effect of failures of an industrial automatic con­ troller on control system effectiveness induces. The reduction in effectiveness is deter­ mined for the case of failures which result in stoppage of the process and change to off-line control.
