Matrix methods for planning and daily management of research bodies

Abstract: The paper is concerned with organization of planning, daily management and correction of the administrative structure for large scientific centers engaged in basic and applied research. An attampt is made to unify and systematize three basic factors influencing the work of a research body, plans of basic research, applied projects and their interaction, and involvement of leaders and teams in implementation of these plans and projects.
