Locally optimal control of plants with unknown parameters

Abstract:
An adaptive control problem for a dynamic process is solved with uncertainty about the parameters. The control algorithms are obtained by using the “separation” principle and local optimization procedures. The properties of an adaptive closedloop system are found, it's performance estimated, and parameters are proved to be identifiable in control.
