Stochastic Systems

Decomposition methods in analysis and design of linear systems subjected to random signals

V. I. Shin

Moscow
Abstract: Problems in analysis and design of multi-diemensional dynamic systems are solved through decomposition whereby reduction of matrices to block-diagonal for and methods of the theory of linear representations of groups are employed. The group theoretic method of decomposition is applied to systems whose mathematical model is invariant with a certain group of its transformations. Dedicated computer programs are developed for decomposition of linear systems of practically any order.
