Minimization of a monotone function on a polyhedral set

A. S. Belen'kii

Moscow
Abstract: The problem of minimization on a polyhedral set of a quasiconvex function which features monotoneity on any stretch of the definition range is considered which arises in planning for optimization of specific economic indices. Properties of the monotone function on a polyhedral set are found which lead to a finite method for solution of the problem.
