Use of sliding modes in control of distributed systems

Abstract:
Approximation of an equation which describes the behaviour of a distributed system, a finite dimensional set of differential equations, and deliberate introduction of sliding modes lead to the desired state of a process with distributed parameters under incomplete information is obtained and maintained.
