Use of physiologigal information in interactive systems

A. A. Desova

Moscow
Abstract: The paper is concerned with use of physiological information on the state and properties of human operator in design, investigation, and operation of interactive systems. Engineering psychological criteria are indicated that characterize real life problems. Main stages of a methodological approach to obtaining formalized estimates of physiological information are formulated and described. An approach is suggested to obtaining a quantitative estimate of the human operator's functional state. The approach is applied to formulation of a scale of operating tension.
