Employment of the PS-2000 computer in calculation of open magnetic traps with dense plasma

G. E. Dagman, M. S. Pekker

Novosibirsk
Abstract: The paper is concerned with paralel execution of an algorithm for solving the Focker-Panck equation which describes the plasma containment in open magnetic trap with dense plasma. The algorithm is implemented in a multi-processor PS-2000 computer. Comparative characteristics of computing one job in BESM-6 and PS-2000 for a gas dynamic trap are given.
