Deterministic Systems

Design of invariant systems by the method of motion separation

V. A. Utkin, V. I. Utkin

Moscow
Abstract: Procedures of designing linear multivariable systems invariant to exogenous disturbances are described. The invariance is obtained by dynamic compensation and problem decomposition with the use of large coefficients and discontinuous controls. The order of the compensator is shown to be that of the dynamic model of disturbances. The results are illustrated for a d.c. actuator.
