The pioner method in computer-aided scheduling of power facility maintenance

A. I. Reznitskii, B. M. Shtilman

Moscow
Abstract: The briefly described PIONER method for solution of high dimension searching problems which is employed, in particular, to scheduling of power facility maintenance, reduces the problem to what is essentially an analytical problem. The method formalization embodies the findings of the formal language theory. The PIONER-2 program executes the method in monthly scheduling jobs.
