Abstract: The basic problems and objectives of large scale fuel and energy system structure management are formulated; models of managing such structures are surveyed. A typical set of investment models and principles for design of “fuel – energy” optimization and simulation models are described. The potential of improving the management of the national fueld and energy complex are discussed.
