Design of stable control systems optimal in terms of R.M.S. performance criteria

Yu. P. Petrov

Leningrad
Abstract: Papers published in 1973-1981 on design of control systems subjected to random disturbances are surveyed. The attention is focused on papers on design methods which, in addition to the minimum of the r.m.s. performance criterion, insure stability of the closed-loop system (or stability in face of small deflections of the actual values of parameters from the setpoints), and meeting other requirements to the system to be optimized.
