Reliability

Informational and functional reliability of digital devices

Yu. A. Kurochkin, A. S. Smirnov, V. A. Stepanov

Leningrad
Abstract: Logically redundant and irredundant digital devices are defined. Formulae are obtained for computing the reliability with an allowance for logical redundance of digital devices. The main finding of the paper is an estimate of the probability of a correct output signal of a structurally redundant digital device without memory.
