Development of optimal algorithms for multi-alternative simultaneous parameter detection and estimation with unknown probabilities of signals to be detected
V. M. Zinchuk, S. Yu. Yakimenko Voronezh
Abstract:
The paper is concerned with development of algorithms for multi-alternative simultaneous detection of signals and estimation of their parameters when the probability of signal propagation or otherwise are unknown. A solution is given for the case of a strong relation between the detection and estimation procedures. Examples are given of specific optimal algorithms with a quadratic function of losses of estimation and simple costs for detection.
