Simulation of digital devices in long input sequences

A. G. Birger

Moscow
Abstract: An approach, is proposed to design of methods for simulation of digital devices which contain converters of sequences with many signal variations into sequences with few signal variations. The method makes use of periodic properties of input sequences fed to such devices. Other properties of periodic sequences are considered. Methods of test simulation analysis, and design are described that deal with periodic sequences of signals rather than with their individual values or sets of values.
