On design of optical systems and associative data sampling in high capacity holographic memories

A. A. Verbovetsky

Moscow
Abstract: Design principles are proposed for associative holographic memories (AHM) which can store over $10^{10}$ bits and implement a multistep associative search. The basic parameters of such memories are analyzed. The proposed way to encode associative features increase the noise immunity of memory. The proposed technique of associative data sampling makes it possible to use lasers whose output power amounts to several MW for associative search in AHM.
