Implementation of finite automaton algorithms as structured programs. I

V. Devyatkov

Moscow
Abstract: The paper is concerned with implementation of finite automaton algorithms (logic control algorithms) as programs of a specific form. These programs rely on a stack mechanism for computation so as to control the computation by the input data stored in the stack. The software implementation is performed by analysis and transformation of the original description of the finite automaton algorithm.
