Simulation of Behavior and Intelligence

Primitive decision rules in pattern recognition

S. M. Kulikov

Moscow
Abstract: The pattern recognition problem is solve for a simple class of piecewise-continuous decision rules for small observation samples. Estimates of the mean and total risk deflections from the empirical risk are obtained. An algorithm is proposed which implements the method of structural risk minimization on a slass of piecewise continuous decision rules whereby observation samples are clustered.
