Abstract: The paper is concerned with optimizing the dosage of a medicinal drug for the best possible theurapetical effect. Versions of the mathematical statement of the problem and solution algorithm are given. For illustration, optimization of the dosage of 5-NOK in pyelonephritis treatment.
