A sequential method for detection of faults in random processes of the recurrent type

Abstract:
The paper is concerned with detection of multi-dimensional random processes with discrete time that are described by stochastic difference equations. The process models prior to and after the fault are assumed known. A sequential procedure is proposed for determining the fault time by the method of least squares.
