The maximum principle in regular optimal control problems where the ends of the phase path are on the boundary of the phase constraint

A. Ya. Dubovitskii, V. A. Dubovitskiy

Moscow
Abstract: The paper is concerned with an optimal control problem which contains regular constraints on the phase and control. Conditions are found under which the optimal path satisfies an augmented maximum principle with components, continuous at finite times. The result makes it possible to analyze the optimality of paths which reach the boundary of the phase constraint at finite times.
