Entropy models of stochastic communication systems and their application to description of passenger flow dynamics in cities
Sh. S. Imel'baev Moscow
Abstract:
A relationship is found between stochastic communication systems and finite-dimensional distributions of probabilities of random sequences. Entropy properties of random sequences are incorporated into models of stochastic communication systems and the adequacy of these models in representing actual processes is studied. The resultant models were employed in a dynamics analysis of trips to work and home in cities.
