Stochastic Systems

Optimization of an underloaded service systeih

G. B. Moroz

Kiev
Abstract: An underbade service system which sustains losses is considered. There are $n$ servers of the simplest possible flow of more important customers. The service time of more important and less important customers is exponentially distributed. The system is loaded to capacity with less important customers so as to minimize a functional of total losses per unit time.
