Deterministic Systems

Extending the principle of maximal generalized work

A. A. Krasovskii

Moscow
Abstract: Using nonconventional functionals such as those of generalized work in optimization makes it possible to generate real-time control signals of a complex nonlinear system in order to obtain the major ultimate goal of the current stage of the system functioning. The theory of the method of generalized work is surveyed and the algorithm with a forecasting model (AFM) is extended to the case of an operator description of the system (model). Ways to reduce the requirements to the computing speed such as AFM options involving synchronous differentiation and a physical forecasting model are discussed. The AFM is worth of a wider application range.
