References:
Abstract: We propose an efficient approach to pole placement for the problem of centralized control over a large scale power system with state feedback. Our approach is based on a specific homothetic transformation of the original system representation. The representation of a transformed system contains explicit elements that can be changed with feedback and provide for a given pole placement in the closed system. We give examples of solving the exact pole placement problem in systems whose state space dimension reaches several thousands.
